Top 10 Best-Selling Cars In The United Kingdom - October 2011

2011 Honda Jazz Front Rear Blue Green
For the eighth consecutive month Ford's Fiesta was the United Kingdom's best-selling car. Fiesta sales were up 21% in October 2011. Together, the Ford Fiesta and Britons' third-favourite car (second-fave year-to-date) accounted for 68% of all Ford UK new vehicle sales last month.

The Ford Fiesta wasn't the only popular car with vastly improved sales this October. Its main rival, the Vauxhall Corsa, posted a 76% year-over-year increase. Ford Focus sales jumped 34%. The Focus's base price is £4500 above the Fiesta's. The Corsa starts at £8995, £500 less than the Fiesta. That gap is equal to $800 USD.

At the opposite end of the ledger an appearance is made by the Honda Jazz, a car North Americans know as the Honda Fit. This is the first time a Honda has appeared on the UK Best-Selling Cars list since GoodCarBadCar.net began tracking UK auto sales a little more than one year ago.
