2010 FORD MUSTANG CONFIGURED #7 - CLUB

The final Ford Mustang GT in this much-larger-than-previously-anticipated group of 2010 Mustangs customized by The Good Car Guy is this '80s-inspired convertible. Initial impressions will likely evolve from reactions to the disco-flavoured colour scheme; although the gigantic multi-spoke wheels are very late '90s. Of all the Ford Mustangs configured by The Good Car Guy on Ford's website, this has got to be your least favourite. The 2010 Ford Mustang GT Club is perfectly suited for Doriana Sanchez, for people who like to sing "Groovejet", and for, well... lovers of turquoise.

2010 FORD MUSTANG CONFIGURED #6 - SHELBY AMERICANA

Compare the last decade of automotive advertising with TV commercials and print ads from the 90s and one of the most subtle but outstanding differences is the increase in attention paid to customization. Modifications. Tuning.

Ford's new website for the 2010 Mustang emphasizes customization in a way only Steve Saleen or Jack Roush could've foreseen 15 or 20 years ago. Naturally, The Good Car Guy has participated. Sixth in a group of GoodCaradCar.net special Ford Mustangs is this Shelby Americana. Check out the other Ford Mustangs configured by The Good Car Guy here.

2010 FORD MUSTANG CONFIGURED #5 - DUBAI

Boys will be boys, they say. Give a guy a video game controller.... and he'll use it. Offer up free gadgets; he'll grab'em. Put a donair in front of him and he will eat. Provide an in-depth configurator for one of the all-time great guy cars and much configuring will be done.

That's what has happened with the 2010 Ford Mustang Customizer and The Good Car Guy. Fifth in a line of Mustangs configured by yours truly is this Ford Mustang Dubai. Bold and bodacious, the simplicity of the new Mustang's design manages to shine through the burn-your-eyes-out nature of this gold 'Stang.

Fortunately, when if it were ever possible for this Ford Mustang to hit the streets of the U.A.E., the Mustang GT's fuel economy wouldn't scare off anybody.

2010 FORD MUSTANG CONFIGURED #4 - VITESSE

Fourth in a series of Good Car Guy original Mustangs is this green 2010 Ford Mustang GT configured on Ford's Mustang customizing site. After the others, namely the Designer Edition, Urban Spec, and Mary Kay Limited Edition, this Mustang Vitesse is rather low-key from the front. At the rear, things get a little 80s but remain appropriate.

2010 FORD MUSTANG CONFIGURED #3 - MARY KAY LIMITED EDITION

Take one V8-engined Ford Mustang, the GT model, and drive down the highway for a while. Measure your fuel efficiency. The EPA believes you'll travel about 24 miles for every gallon of regular gasoline. Chevrolet's Corvette, with substantially more horsepower, is said to achieve 26mpg on the highway. There's the bad news. Good news revolves around the look of the 2010 Ford Mustang which can be customized to look like the Mary Kay Limited Edition car you see here, as designed by The Good Car Guy on Ford's Mustang customizing site. Check out TGCG's other Mustangs by clicking Mustang Configured.

2010 FORD MUSTANG CONFIGURED #2 - URBAN SPEC

The Good Car Guy's Designer Edition 2010 Ford Mustang has already been revealed. In this Mustang Configured section of GoodCarBadCar.net, the second result of TGCG's time on Ford's Mustang customization site is the vehicle you see pictured here. Very rarely do good-looking vehicles look better when slightly tinkered with. Yet Ford managed to alter the retro-themed 'Stang for 2010 and improve the overall package - not just the styling - at a time when Chevrolet was releasing the Camaro and Dodge fortified Challenger supply. When tastefully customized, the 2010 Ford Mustang is a fairly spectacular item. Click the images for a larger view of this Mustang, the one we call Urban Spec.

2010 FORD MUSTANG CONFIGURED #1 - DESIGNER EDITION

Ford's Configure-Your-Own Mustang website allows muscle car lovers to reproduce the image dreamt about last night. Paint it however you like. Aim for simple; end up with gaudy. Go for go-faster; finish with class and panache. The Good Car Guy has naturally spent some time on the Mustang Customizer and the first result is the 2010 Ford Mustang pictured here. We'll call it the Designer Edition. (Click either image for a larger view.) Check out a multitude of customized Volvo C30's in the C30 Configured section of GoodCarBadCar.net.
