Minivan Sales And Truck Sales In Canada - November 2011

In its second full month on sale, the Chevrolet Orlando reported a 29% month-to-month decline in a market which shrunk by just 3.6%. The Orlando went from out-selling the Mazda 5 and Kia Rondo in October to being out-sold by the Mazda 5 and Kia Rondo in November.

November 2011 sales figures show the Mazda 5 coming out in top spot in the mini-minivan segment. Through eleven months, the Kia Rondo has a 208-unit lead over the Mazda. Canada's true best-selling maximinivan is the Dodge Grand Caravan, though sales slid 21.5% in November 2011. Together with its twin, the Chrysler Town & Country, Chrysler Canada's minivans owned 56.9% of Canada's minivan market in November.

For example, Canada's four best-selling trucks - the Ford F-Series, Dodge Ram, GMC Sierra, and Chevrolet Silverado - controlled 83.9% of Canada's truck market in November.
