Maruti has one of the largest manufacturer of cars in India. Now with the increasing competition from the rivals in the market, Maruti finally launched the diesel variant of the C segment car, SX4 in the market to give some tough competition to top selling sedan car manufacturer in India which are basically all International car makes like the Fiat, VW or Hyundai, other cars in this segment.
The engine used in the SX4 is same as that of the Swift, Dzire and the Ritz which is 1.3 L DDiS engine giving a power of about 90PS @ 4000 rpm and a decent 200Nm of torque @ 1750 rpm. The proposed mileage of SX4 is about 21 KM/L.
The interior and exterior of the car is same to that of Petrol variant of SX4. You will not find any other difference in the looking of the car expect the batching of the car in the rear to mark that its a diesel variant of the car, rest all is same.
