Small SUV Sales And Small Luxury SUV Sales In America - October 2010

GoodCarBadCar.net is putting an end to the Niche Vehicle Graphs posted four times monthly. This means vehicles from those Graphs will be migrating to another place. Today, as you can see, this means the Jeep Wrangler and Nissan Juke appear with more normal small SUVs and crossovers.

This only goes to show just how popular the Jeep Wrangler is. The 2011 Nissan Juke had a decent start, as well. In the luxury category, the Cadillac SRX remains dominant in a highly competitive segment. The 2011 BMW X3 will undoubtedly shake things up soon.

Whither the Lexus RX? GoodCarBadCar.net places the RX350/RX450h up a class from the Cadillac SRX mainly because its base price is higher than any utility vehicle in the "small" group. Only so much of a segment's categorization can be based on dimensions. The Good Car Guy uses names like "small", "midsize", and "large" as guides to help separate one group of supposed competitors from another. If you see things different, that's fine. The sales of each and every model can be sought out here.
