Large SUV Sales And Large Luxury SUV Sales In America - October 2010

Ignore the fact that all the large luxury SUVs sold in America in October 2010 don't amount to as many buyers as Ford found for the 2011 Edge. Now consider this: 9170 large luxury SUVs were sold in America in October 2010. That's 183.4 per state, 91.7 for ever member of the United States senate, or approximately 5.4 for every NFL player. 12.7% of the large luxury SUV market in October 2010 was held by Nissan's luxury brand, a not-unimpressive figure for the 2011 Infiniti QX56.

Among SUVs included by GoodCarBadCar.net for the large mainstream category below, four are built by General Motors. With the Chevrolet Suburban, Chevrolet Tahoe, GMC Yukon, and GMC Yukon XL, General Motors grabbed 73.5% of the large mainstream SUV market and 61.3% of the overall large SUV market in October 2010. No company does that without top-notch product.
