Top 5 Best-Selling Trucks In America - December 2010

In a huge month for General Motors, the Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra combined to out-sell the Ford F-Series by more than 4400 units. GM's full-size pickup duo posted a sales increase of 27.7% in December 2010.

Ford F-Series sales were up, by 13.9% to be exact, and that was enough to more than double up on the Dodge Ram, which posted a huge increase of 93.4% after a troublesome December 2009. Toyota's smaller pickup, the Tacoma, was up 15.5% in December 2010; the Tundra was up 12.9%.

Was GM's end-of-year push enough to overcome the F-Series for overall 2010 best-selling truck superiority? You'll have to wait a few minutes to find out. For now, this chart tells the story of America's Top 5 Best-Selling Trucks in December 2010.
