DANES WANT TO BUILD FIFTEEN COPIES OF THE ZENVO ST1 - GALLERY

Upstart supercar manufacturer wannabe builder Zenvo Automotive plans to build fifteen examples of the 1104-bhp ST1. As dramatic as the Pagani Zonda, the 3,033-pound Zenvo ST1 should make good use of its aerodynamic aids; including a massive rear diffuser and integrated rear wing.

At 183.7 inches long, the Zenvo is a half-foot longer than the Ferrari 430 Scuderia, only a little heavier, and more than twice as powerful. Taking distinct pride as a "100% built in Denmark" supercar, Zenvo started work in 2004 on the ST1 and chose a 7.0L supercharged V8. Oh, and it's turbocharged, too.

Skepticism pervades every time a new supercar is planned. Pagani made it happen. Most other manufacturers introduce concepts, plan a production run, and fail to execute. Anything that looks like the Zenvo ST1 deserves to be built. Whether or not anybody will have the desired funds (or the guts) to make payments on this Danish vehicle is a whole 'nuther set of questions. For video of the Zenvo ST1, check out out the company's website.
