Production of the Escort was once thought to be a game changer for the Ford Motor Company. They'd save money and impress the world with a truly 'world car'. Well, not so much. However, the 1994 Escort you'll see in this video is a game changer to say the least. As General Motors struggles to introduce the Chevrolet Volt in a timely manner and as Toyota pushes more simple hybrid technology and claims that General Motors can't fulfill its claims; as BMW markets the their Hydrogen 7-series by use of celebrities and as diesel begins to renew interest in North America, a very wise man travels 100 miles in his Ford Escort with just 4 ounces of water.
