Top 265 Vehicles In Canada - 2011 Year End - Every Vehicle Ranked

The Chevrolet Volt Was Canada's
218th-Best-Selling Car In 2011
It started earlier this afternoon with the U.S. rankings. Now, for Canada, 2011's auto sales data has been broken down by model and ranked by volume. The Ford F-Series came out on top. The Pontiac G8 and Honda S2000 finished at the bottom. In between you'll find 262 lines of Canadian auto sales data from 2011 Year End. This includes Canada's best-selling car, the Honda Civic, which ended the year in third spot. Canada's best-selling minivan finished 2011 in fourth with 53,406 sales. The top SUV was Ford's Escape, the seventh-ranked vehicle.

The top German was Volkswagen's Jetta - the sedan only in Canada - which came out ahead of the Ford Focus to grab 13th spot. The leading Korean was Canada's number two passenger car, the Hyundai Elantra. This much you already knew having checked out the 30 best-selling vehicles list when GoodCarBadCar.net published it in early January

This list, one GoodCarBadCar aims to publish with year-to-date findings for every month in 2012, is so much more exhaustive. Some of the data is released in a different format than it is south of the border. For example, on this list you'll find the Toyota Prius V (in 188th), whereas Toyota USA combines Prius and Prius V volume on one line. Flip that standard with Mercedes-Benz: in the States the E-Class and CLS-Class are separate - in Canada they're treated as one vehicle.

Regardless, all the info is below. You can skip past the top 30 and head straight for the meat of the lineup by clicking here. Monthly and yearly sales data - both Canadian and U.S. data, that is - can always be accessed through the dropdown menu at the top right of this page. Best seller lists are always published ASAP when automakers release monthly sales data. There are more important links way, way down at the bottom of this post, so if you're eyes haven't bugged out by the time you get there, have a look around.
