Top 250 Best-Selling Vehicles In America - January 2012 - Every Vehicle Ranked

The 99th-Best-Selling Vehicle In America
In January 2012 Was The Toyota Venza
The process began yesterday and continues with this list of every vehicle sold in America in January 2012. Year-over-year, the U.S. new vehicle market improved by a little more than 11% in January, a little less than 12% if you remove commercial vans from the equation. No vehicle found more buyers than the Ford F-Series, sales of which increased 8% compared with January 2011. No vehicle found fewer buyers than the long since dead Suzuki XL7, one of which was sold in January.

In between the F-Series and XL7 were 247 nameplates which, collectively, acquired 858,394 new owners in the first month of 2012. More than 28,000 of those sales belonged to the Toyota Camry, America's most popular car. The top SUV or crossover was the Honda CR-V, sales of which shot up 16%. The Dodge Grand Caravan began the year as the best-selling minivan, 1105 sales ahead of the Honda Odyssey.

Monthly and yearly sales data for every automobile competing in the United States can always be accessed through the dropdown menu at the top right of this page. This list is 250-models long; you can skip past the already-revealed Top 30 by clicking here. When you find your way to the bottom you'll find links to important January 2012 best seller lists, lists which are always updates as soon as participating manufacturers have made monthly data available.
