BOOMERANG SAYS '99 HONDA CIVIC SIR MOST STOLEN CAR IN CANADA

Care to share your car? Apparently the owners of MY1999 Honda Civic SiRs find themselves sharing more often than the owners of any other car in Canada. It's not because of their generosity, but because of the propensity for thievery.

Boomerang Tracking wants to help. In addition to wireless technology that enables Boomerang to claim they can track stolen vehicles where regular GPS trackers can't, Boomerang has also released a guide on the myths and realities - as well as prevention methods - of auto theft in Canada. Their YouTube channel aims to educate drivers, too. Although pricing for Boomerang devices varies by contract length and authorized dealer, you could expect to pay less than $20 per month with a $250 recovery fee (if necessary) that's most likely covered by insurance.

Check back for Boomerang's list of the most stolen vehicles in Canada later today.
