2009 MAZDA 3 IN MOTION

Pictures of the new Mazda 3 don't treat its exterior well. That shouldn't be taken to mean that a car competing with the Nissan Sentra and Toyota Corolla, two not-so-gorgeous compacts, can't continue to be successful. In an early review Car&Driver wrote that "aside from the drone of road noise, the 3 rolls down the road with a refinement and solidity that escapes most of the cars in the compact class."
