FUEL ECONOMY IN CAR AND DRIVER JULY 2009

Fuel prices are creeping upwards again. Although it appears very unlikely that gasoline will reach last summer's heights, nobody wants to use more than they have to. Car & Driver's testers this month were, for the most part, on the.... uh, high-end, shall we say? Throw in a couple of the least expensive and newest hybrids for good measure, and you've got yourself a lot of samples for real-world fuel economy. The numbers you'll read below aren't the EPA numbers - this is real driving on real roads by real people. For 0-60mph info on the same cars, check this link.
