ARE HONDA'S BAD CARS? To be frank; no. Are Honda's always interesting, fun, and desirable? No, again. Nevertheless, few Honda's are unrecommendable. For such a mainstream lineup from the world's preeminent engine builder, Honda does produce a surprising number of driver-centric vehicles and continues to carry its reputation as a top quality/reliability/durability brand.
ARE LAND ROVER LR3'S WORTH THE MONEY? In The Good Car Guy's test drive of the Land Rover LR3 that you can read here, praise was forthcoming. At the end of that post, you can follow a link to another story that is not so favourable as relates to reliability. So, if you will allow GCBC to have it both ways, here'sa sitting-on-the-fence answer: if your LR3 doesn't break; fail; or stutter, the vehicle will be worth way more than the asking price. But, if your LR3 acts like a Land Rover of the (recent?) past, you will wish you hadn't paid half the asking price. Which is, by the way, starts at $49,300 in the USA.
CHRYSLER SEBRING, GOOD CAR OR BAD CAR? The fact that The Good Car Guy made the Sebring convertible a member of the very un-coveted Bad 8 doesn't bode well for Chrysler in this response. Nor does the article where GoodCarBadCar lists the Sebring as #5 on its list of Top 5 Turkeys for 2007. The lashing the Sebring received at the hands of The Good Car Guy early in GCBC's existence makes this a triad of badness. The links form the answer.
DOES THE 2008 HONDA FIT AUTOMATIC QUALIFY FOR THE ECOAUTO REBATE? Canada's ecoAuto rebate that you can read about here can now be had ($1,000) on Honda's Good 12-winning hatchback since Honda made changes to the manual transmission. This list of cars provided by Transport Canada includes the manual transmission Fit only. However, it is believed that Honda will issue $750 gas cards to buyers of automatic-equipped Fits.
