Canadian consumers and businesses acquired 2415 commercial-oriented vans in September 2012. Just under half of them were Fords. The Transit Connect was the segment's top seller in its best Canadian sales month yet, beating the next-best-selling van, Ford's own E-Series, by 77 units.

At least in Canada, the segment is quickly becoming very competitive. Even the sixth-ranked Ram Cargo Van grabbed 8.5% of the market in September. Only the Nissan NV comes across as too weak in terms of total volume and market share, grabbing only 3.4% of September's commercial van industry.

Historical monthly and yearly sales results for 282 different vehicles can be accessed through the first dropdown menu at GCBC's Sales Stats home or, for non-mobile users, near the top right of this page.
