FUEL ECONOMY IN CAR AND DRIVER JANUARY 2010

In Car & Driver's hands, one of Japan's smaller mid-size sedans, the Suzuki Kizashi, fitted with a 6-speed manual and the obligatory 4-cylinder engine, managed to guzzle fuel at the same rate as one of Japan's uglier mid-size crossovers, the Honda Accord Crosstour, a vehicle which was fully outfitted with all-wheel drive. Follow that? Yes, the Suzuki Kizashi uses the same amount of fuel as the Honda Accord Crosstour. As an aside, the testing of GoodCarBadCar.net's long-term smart fortwo has resulted in an average of 37.2 miles per gallon through the first 3,000 miles.
